1. About

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Sabrina Falk, founder of SHY, operating from SHY Studio, 35 Lewes High Street, Lewes, BN7 2LU.

By booking an appointment, consultation, treatment, lesson or education session, you agree to these Terms.

2. Appointments & Booking

Appointments can be booked via the SHY booking system or by direct arrangement.
A booking fee may be required to secure your appointment. Booking fees are non-refundable but may be transferable in line with the cancellation policy below.
Availability with Sabrina is limited and clients are encouraged to book in advance.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice: booking fee may be transferred to a new appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice: booking fee is retained.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in 100% of the treatment fee being charged.

For semi-permanent make-up appointments, late cancellation or non-attendance may require full pre-payment for future bookings.
This policy exists due to the time reserved and the preparation required for each appointment.

4. Semi-Permanent Make-Up Specific Terms
4.1 Consultation

All semi-permanent make-up treatments include a consultation prior to treatment. Treatment will only proceed where appropriate.
4.2 Refinement Appointment

A refinement appointment is required approximately 6–10 weeks after the initial treatment.
Refinement appointments are charged separately and must be booked within the recommended timeframe. If the refinement is not completed within this period, additional charges may apply.
4.3 Results

Semi-permanent make-up results vary depending on:

Skin type

Lifestyle

Aftercare adherence

Existing pigment or previous work

No guarantee is given as to exact colour retention or longevity.

5. Medical & Contraindications

Clients must disclose all relevant medical information prior to treatment.
Treatment may be refused if:

There are medical contraindications

The skin is not suitable

Previous work makes results unpredictable

Expectations are unrealistic

Sabrina Falk reserves the right to decline treatment where it is not appropriate or safe to proceed.

6. Aftercare & Responsibility

Clear aftercare guidance is provided following treatments.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect results and longevity. Sabrina Falk is not responsible for compromised results where aftercare advice has not been followed.

7. Liability

All treatments are carried out with care, skill and professional judgement.
By booking and attending an appointment, you acknowledge that:

You understand the nature of the treatment.

You accept that all cosmetic procedures carry some degree of risk.

Results cannot be guaranteed.

8. Patch Testing

Patch tests are required for certain treatments.

9. Education & Lessons

Education sessions, one-to-one lessons and mentoring are non-refundable once booked.
Rescheduling requires a minimum of 28 days’ notice.
Course content and materials remain the intellectual property of Sabrina Falk and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
Completion of training does not guarantee business success or income.

10. Hair & Make-Up Bookings

For event or on-location bookings:

A deposit is required to secure the date.

Travel outside Lewes may incur additional charges.

Early starts or extended hours may incur additional fees.

Cancellations within 30 days of an event booking may result in full fee being retained.

11. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months unless otherwise stated.

12. Amendments

Sabrina Falk reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on the website.
